I am constantly striving to find activities that will be fun and interesting – not only for the kiddies – but for me too. Not sure if that is a selfish mothering trait (probably), but I find that if I am into the activity the kiddies are into it too, and for much longer.
Cooking has always been a big part of our lives. However, cooking with kiddies has been tricky but worth the effort. Flour, sugar, coconut, almond meal and a plethora of other ingredients have been tossed/thrown/puffed into every nook and cranny.
Mostly, it’s a blast! One successful session was baking a sour cream cake. For the main part it was prepared in order and most of the batter made it into the tin (a first). Enjoy!
